▶ How long you have been cross-dressing: With complete outfits and makeup, for about three years, but I’ve felt fascination for women’s clothing since my teenage years, when I first tried my mother’s over-the-knee stockings.
▶ What’s your favorite thing about dressing up: How I look and feel when I see that woman reflected in the mirror, like a beauty queen.
▶ Things you can’t dress up without: Make-up and heels.
▶ Reason you like to crossdress: I am fascinated by the beauty of femininity, and I love to experience it firsthand, in my own body. I feel a bit between two worlds, experiencing as Xandra what I cannot allow myself as a man, due to social constraints. It’s also relaxing for me, it allows me to get away from my daily routine for a bit.
▶ Things you like to do after getting dressed: : Taking pictures and walking around in heels. I would like to socialize with other similar people, go out, but at the moment that is not possible for me.
▶ Your favorite outfits/style: Short, fitted dresses.
▶ Where do you buy your clothes/makeup/shoes from: I usually buy from well-known online stores and secondhand, almost-new items on platforms like Vinted. Occasionally, I shop in person at a store in my city.
▶ How long does it take you to to do your make-up and get ready: My makeup takes about an hour, and then getting dressed takes another half hour..
▶ What are the challenges you have faced as a crossdresser: The fear of being discovered, the stigma, and the possible rejection from people in my family, friends, work, etc. Of course, I’ve had to learn many things about fashion, makeup, etc. that weren’t part of my male lifestyle.
