I remember the first time I went out shopping, it was at Right Aid the next town over. Yeah, I had gone to McDonalds via the drive in window, but this trip to Right Aid was totally new. I looked over the cosmetics, went to where they had batteries and picked up a package of AA that I really didn't need. When I turned a corner of an Isle, I was about 10 feet away from a woman I had worked with for several years. I was in jeans, wig, bra, forms, a sweatshirt, and a dash of lipstick. I even had clip on earrings. She nudged her husband, "I think that's ... and mentioned my name." I paid for my batteries and got the hell out of there, scared stiff. Thank God I've never seen here again since that day four years ago. I've been out to Safeway, Walmart, the hardware store buying drain repair kit, even went to Denny's for breakfast and of course dressed. I still have some scary moments, but they're few and far between. I've visited the "ladies room at the Mall" -- I needed to go. I had an appointment today with a notary to sign some papers and wanted to dress, but I only wore tight jeans, black flats, and panties and a new red blouse. Coward!
